Aaron Rodgers is adding another ring to his collection.
Confirmed on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, actress Shailene Woodley and reigning NFL MVP Rodgers are set to tie the knot after a brief courtship that was rumored to have begun in 2020, seemingly ending Rodgers’ bachelorship that has been a focus of tabloid discussion for years.
“Yes, we are engaged, we are engaged,” Woodley said. “For us, it’s not new news.”
Woodley, an award-winning actress, ended her relationship with Australian rugby player Ben Volavola in April 2020, opening the door to her relationship with Rodgers soon after. Woodley is known for her roles in the “Divergent” film series, as well as starring in “Big Little Lies,” an HBO series.
Rodgers’ personal life has become something of a point of interest for many, with his much-publicized romance with Danica Patrick stealing headlines during — and after — their relationship, which surprisingly ended in 2020. Rodgers’ public issues with his family have also been at the forefront of his personal life.
Speaking on “The Pat McAfee Show” in September, Rodgers dropped some hints that he made changes in his personal life that made him seem more free and clear on the field in 2020, eventually leading to his third NFL MVP award.
As the saying goes, behind every great man…
Here’s how their brief courtship led to future wedding bells:

And that’s why I’m having so much fun, and it starts with love. And then surrounding yourself with people you really enjoy.”
